This is the snow that it snowed yesterday.
This is it about 45 minutes to an hour later.
It all melted by the morning, but it still counts as the first snow. It has been in the lower 20's to the upper teen's here. Brrr.

We went to the theater to see the latest Harry Potter movie today. It rocked!!! I don't want to spoil anything if you are going to see it but you haven't. To those of you who have seen it, how good was it on a scale of 1 to 10? 1 being good and 10 being bad. Then we drove by the outlet mall and laughed at all the people who were out waiting for the stores to open. No offense to people who read my blog that do that, I still want you to visit. I just think it's funny. And guess what?! We saw the guy who runs something with sports at our YMCA. I have to go.

Happy Turkey Day from, Me, Gold, Silver, Zoe, Zelda, Wendy, Uhura, Tinky and any unborn babies. We hope you get here warm, happy and healthy!

I Would Say "Happy Thanksgiving", but Thats Just so Unoriginal...

So how about... Happy-Day-That-The-Pilgrims-Did-Something-And-I-Need-To-Brush-Up-On-My-History... But that's kinda long so I'll stay unoriginal and say, Happy Thanksgiving!

Millie Scopes Out Her New Territory.

I figured it would be healthy for me to stop obsessing over baby goats so here's another post on Millie.
She likes to eat grass, it's good for her because we don't use anything on our lawn, that would be dangerous for baby goats. Dang, there I go...
What do you think she sees? A chicken? One of the neighbor dogs? Those ghosts that only dogs can see?
She doesn't exactly have the best figure. Look how fat she is! Her diet and weight plan start today.

No, not you Millie the Goat. My Grandma's dog.
She's staying with us for the next two or so weeks while my Grandma goes back to Colorado for Thanksgiving. Thats where I was born you know. In Colorado, so was my bro. My younger sister was born in Wyoming and my youngest sister was born here in Wisconsin. Cheese-head!

Zelda and Zoe

Babies in the next week at *least*

I promise! My mom said that she was always told that bagging up is the most important sign of all. My mom knows these kind of things, she's a Lactation Consultant. But she does humans not goats. But when I was littler we had goats and she always noticed the bagging out and then they had babies within the next 1-2 weeks. And Zelda is bagging up!

Zelda, the Next Day

Hmmm, no babies yet. She still doesn't have her ligaments and her tail is springing. There is no discharge and she looks a little bit smaller. Maybe the babies dropped down lower in her stomach? Oh, well, she'll have them when she wants to. Oh, but I just can't wait!

Uhura: is doing nothing. Her ligaments are still there and there is no sign of anything with her. Hmm, I'll have to keep an eye on her.

Zelda's ligaments are the definition of gone. I felt her tummy and I felt a baby kick! It was so cool! I hope she has them tonight. I'm going to stay up late (not that I usually don't...) so I can keep checking on her. I have the ducks in the pen with them. I don't know why... I picked them up out of the pen to put in with the chickens because it's kinda cold, but i had forgotten that I hadn't opened the chickens door. And I couldn't open it with three struggling ducks in my arms. So now they are in there. Because I'm lazy. But not that much. Usually.

Goats 2

Okay, back. Remember when I was telling you about my sister?
Yeah. The fat one.
This is her standing up today. Do you think she looks bigger then yesterday? I do.
This is me standing up. I am fit and a slim, nothing like my sister. Though I *might* have a baby bump...
Wait, you have something on your face... There, got it.
Bye! I will tell you if she has babies.

Hi, my name's Zoe. I'm here to tell you that my sister, Zelda, lost her ligaments yesterday afternoon. She isn't due till January. That is not quite true obviously.
Look at her. She is HUGE. Today is Uhura's due date. Hmmm, I just don't know what to do with her.
These pictures were taken yesterday. She is already bigger today.
I will get the Human to put them up in a minute.

8 Things

I saw this on Whispering Acres when I was going through their archives.

8 Things I'm Looking Forward To:

Uhura having babies.
My goats having babies in general.
Being present for a goat baby birth.
My soccer game against my sisters team tomorrow. Most of the people from my main soccer team is coming!*
Thanksgiving. I *LOVE* pie.
Seeing my best friend, Makayla, I haven't seen her in like, 3 days!
Goat babies!
The first snow. Don't tell my dad. He will probably kill me for writing that. He will read this post anyway and find out but oh well... It's just so pretty!

8 Things I Did Yesterday: (what day was yesterday? Sunday?)

Played a soccer game. (And won!)
Went to Burger King.
Got hurt playing my soccer game. I was sprinting down the field cause this girl was gonna get a goal and I kicked the ball away from her feet really awkwardly and lost my balance and slid in a kneeling position. I got a really big bruise that you can't even see and a scrape over it.
Chased my sister because she was teasing my about something. I can't remember what.
Got new phones from my grandparents and set them up.
Ate peaches. I LOVE peaches!
Didn't eat breakfast.
Ate my last piece of Halloween candy, a Tootsie Roll. I didn't even know I had it.

8 Things I Want To Do:

Deliver a baby goat. (Or at least help.)
Get a super high tech camera and take super good photos of the goats.
Get my own room instead of sharing it with my littlest sister.
Get really long hair again and cut it off and give it to Locks of Love again. I have already done it 4 or 5 times.
Win my soccer game tomorrow. GO BLUE ANGELS!!!
Make my rock collection bigger, I love amethyst best.
Go to a school dance.

8 Shows I Watch:
(8, Really? I barely watch TV.)

Dirty Jobs.
Vampire Diaries. ( I am not one of those groupie girls who love anything vampire. Or Taylor Lautner.)
Parks and Recreation.
30 Rock.
The World Cup. (Yes I know that is not a TV show. It is soccer. But they showed it on TV so it counts!)

I Am a Bad Person

So, so, sorry people. I have been *so* busy the last couple of days. It has been soccer galore! Today I won my game! It was really fun, we won 3-2, it was a close game. I am also signing up for Basket-Ball with my sister. I will try to post more now. I have bursts of creativeness where I will post everyday for a week then I will barely post 3 times a week. It is three days till Uhura is due to have her babies. Her ligaments seem to be loosening up a bit. I her and Wendy in the new nursery together still. She isn't making her udder yet. If you haven't suggested a name or two yet please do!

In the Clearing

Here is Zelda, can you see Silver in the background?
She came up and tried to take the attention away from Zelda.
Zelda got her to go away though.
Look at her! She's practically popping! It's more noticeable on her because she's so little.
Good luck Zelda!

More From Uhura and Wendy

This is Uhura from behind.
This is Uhura from above.
This is Wendy from above.
This is Wendy from behind.

Does it strike you as odd that Uhura is due to kid in 9 days but Wendy isn't till February? This happened last year as well. I didn't realize that Uhura was due because she doesn't show that much throughout her pregnancy. As for Wendy, she pops out her stomach about a month after breeding and she gets HUGE, so huge in fact that you always think she is going to have Quads, well alright, she had Quads last time but before that she had twins. So... Is it just me or is that weird?

Day 10 of the Kidding Countdown

Ah yes, in 10 days Uhura is due to have her babies! I hope there is a girl in this bunch! I'm typing one handed because last night my littlest sister slept over at one of her BFF's house. When we got her today they sent home some yummy squash bars! They have homemade cream-cheese topping on them, I'll have to get the recipe. Then I'll post it on here so you guys can enjoy some! Mmm, gotta go get another bar!

Make sure you suggest lots of cute "O" names in comments. I decided to have it be a O year.

A New Pen

Hi, today you get to have a visit in our new pen.
HI, the sky is blue...
This is our new pen. We had to move here because the nursery is infected with worms for six months.
Can you find the Nanny Goat? The human had to put a lot of straw in to keep us warm because she hasn't put a roof up yet.
That's Wendy chewing on my shoe lace. She is very attached...
The sky! It's blue!
Um, Wendy, it's night and there is a ceiling above you.
There she goes again...
See how fat Uhura is getting? That's what you get when you are going to kid in 11 days. The Kidding countdown starts tomorrow, make sure you enter baby names in comments! If there is a girl her name will be Oasis, just so you know.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. Wendy, you're in my way, move! I am the pregnant one! I need to be in front! WENDY! MOVE!!!!

Oh yeah...

This is me being stupid the day we went and saw the cows.
Marn was afraid the bull would charge me and kill me but there is a electric fence and he's just scared of cows because when we lived in a different part of Wisconsin we rented from this lady and she also let these other guys have cows there, and this is getting to be to long of a story so I'll cut the chase. Some cows got out but we couldn't tell (please note that we were like, 6 and 8.) so we went and checked it out and when we found out that they were out I went and told our mom but Marnax stayed there and when I came back to tell him that Mama said to stay away from them, he must of spooked one of them and it whipped it's head around and hit him really hard and now he think that they are all out to kill us, which they might be, but in my experience with them, they aren't. So that sums up my story except to tell you that I am obviously still alive, though you may have already figured that out...

In Loving Memorial of Lilyian Silverspoon

Lily died today. She went fast and quickly. She had a very bad case of worms and was to little to pull through. We all loved Lily here, I'm sure a couple people out there came to love her in the time that I blogged about her too. When Uhura has her babies if one is a girl her name will be Oasis and she will take over for Lilyian. Until then I will be on a break from blogging, unless I find some very good material.

Until then, Tayet.

The Cows Across the Way

The cows across the way were very loud today.
And they licked each other a lot...
Still being loud...
Whoa, there Bessie!
This is the big bull from across the way, Uhura was scared of him.
Run, Huey run!
