Mumu in a Tree....Again

Mumu is afraid of heights. Yet he still climbs trees.
As soon as he goes up, he realizes he'd much rather be on the ground.
He starts meowing up a storm like he's saying: "Why am I doing this to myself? Will I survive this ordeal?"
And down.

He should leave the climbing to us goats.
Our cousins in some foreign country.

Yummy pumpkin! Nom nom nom.
Ooh! Pumpkin!
Hey! I found it! Find your own pumpkin.
Bah! I'm gonna eat this one!
Run! before they start fighting and throwing Goat Stares of Death around!

Ahhh, now we can eat peacefully!

Red Sauce

Our Human gave us some spoiled red sauce. We slurped it up like it was our favorite drink.
Some of us got it all over their chinny chin chin.
Someone could not stop eating red sauce.
Of course I couldn't let Uhura have it all!
But I get tired of red sauce fairly quickly. Mineral Lick is the thing for me!
You see how much I love it?
Can you tell we are expecting?

Uhura, the Bucket and a Chicken

Corn Bucket? Nothing in it...
No corn at the back either? Darn Human.
I may not have corn, but I do have... THE GOAT STARE OF DEATH!
Wait, hold on a second. Why does SHE get corn?! I'm trying to grow healthy kids here!
I should get corn! This is unfair. I protest! I do not agree in any way, shape, or form!
I will have my revenge...MAAAHAHAHA!

The Human's New Blog

The Human has her own blog now. She thought that she should let us goats have this blog to ourselves and she should have her own. Go visit her at In Tayet's Shoes.

We Still Have Grass and Leaves!

The Human's house blocked this tree from getting all it's leaves blown off.
Uhura and I loved the chance to get at green!
The big pine trees blocked the ditch from the worst of the snow. There was lots of grass to chow down on.
Uhura was so happy she started having a spaz fit!
We ate so much grass and leaves, we felt very fat (though that might be the kids growing) and had to go chew cud and ruminate on life.
BAH! Snow!

B is for Brrr

This is what I woke up to yesterday.

And also what I woke up to today.
This is really it. No more outdoor soccer, or running around in the cornfield screaming really loudly (don't worry, I'll still scream a lot for the fun of it).

ADVOCAP was doing work on my house and they found a HUGE honey bee nest. I'm not super allergic, but I still have a fit every time I get time I get stung. Like, screaming and crying. And I don't cry. Not even when I get run over by a crazy 18 year old in soccer. But my (insert whatever body part that got stung here) will swell up and hurt super bad for hours and I have to walk around with an ice pack for a day or two. If I have soccer that day, I carry icecubes to numb it. Yeah, I don't die or anything. But it still hurts like heck!

Theme of the Week #4 - Naughty Labs

The neighbors lab is a very nice dog. His name is either JD or DJ. We aren't sure. He listens to every thing you say and he is really big! The bad thing about him? He chases chickens and scares goats. He doesn't try to hurt them or scare them, he just has presence. And now, a day late, Theme of the Weeks theme is Dogs or Naughty Dogs.

Grey Day and Goaty Portraits

The corn is gone. Yesterday, it was all taken away by a big loud machine thing. Our Human gave us long enough tethers to go a bit into the corn field and eat the left overs.
It also gives us nice access to burr bushes. The days are getting dreary and colorless. Green is being replaced with browns, greys and a bit of reddish orange.
I do wish we had our corn field back, it was fun to get lost in! And it was a pretty golden color.

Our Human was silly enough to cut herself doing the dishes on Monday night and had to go to the hospital and get 4 stitches in her right pinky finger. That's why goats don't do dishes. She says that the most painful part was when she had to get the shots for the nerve block. She HATES shots. And I'm just repeating what she told me!

Changing Leaves and Gold Expressions

The leaves are changing and falling off.
These leaves are probably already off the tree.

I gave these to the goats yesterday.

I really like the plants these seed pods come from. I love the big, heart shaped leaves.

I got some very nice close ups of Gold's mouth.
 Yummy cud!
I also got some shots of her doing goaty things, like for instance: Scratching with horns.
 Chewing on inanimate objects.
 Chewing on fingers.
 And looking surprised at nothing.
