A is for A Broody Duck

So, this is Tommy. Yes, thats right, Tommy. We thought she was a he.
We don't know how many eggs she has, if they're actually duck eggs or chicken eggs she found. We don't know if they are fertile, because our ducks are not good at that sort of thing.
In the two years that we've had her, she's never shown any signs of being a girl except the drakes trying to mount her. And we thought that they might just be confused. Heehee.

Maybe you should change it to Tommi.

Looks like Tommy wants to be a Mommy :-) Hope she is successful.

I do hope Tommy gets to hatch and raise something! She might have a confused duckling that goes, "Cheep."

I hope she has a nice little group hatch. I love to watch the little ones follow mama in a row.

I love the blue swedish ducks. They are so cute. We had one named Ray because we thought she was a drake too.

B is for baby ducklings, perhaps?

I love your farm stories. Although they are making it increasingly difficult for me to resist putting my house up for sale to buy a little farm!

Funny Tommy. Maybe she was always spelling it with an 'i'!

Thanks for the smile and the cute link.
