O is for Owly

From tiny little chick...
 To prehistoric looking dinosaur chick...
To fully feathered, pretty little young chicken.
 I give you.......
 Owly!!!

48 days ago, I heard a loud peeping noise coming from an abandoned horse stall in our toolshed. It turned out to be 13 cute, little chicks. In the last 48 days, they have gone from balls of fluff, to dinos, to young chickens. And today, I want you to meet Owly! The chick that stands out the most, mostly because s/he looks completely different then the other chicks, but also because s/he is the nicest little chick. S/he will sit on your shoulder and peep in your ear while you talk to her/him. S/he's so cute!

Oz and a Soccer Tourny

I'm off to see a soccer ball, the wonderful soccer ball of Oz...

I'm going to a soccer tournament, not Oz. But it will probably be just as fun as Oz.

Bye!

N is for a New Sight

I wish my pictures did this sight justice.
I was walking up my steps, when I heard a loud buzzing noise, I could tell where it was coming from, but not a exact location. I looked around and saw a plant stalk waving around like there was a 100 MPH wind.
I went and looked and found that some kind of spider had caught a bee. Weirder yet, it had no web. I kid you not. Seriously, how does a spider catch a bee without a web?!
In this picture, the spider is biting the bee, injecting poison I presume.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of spider this is?

I just figured something out! My birthday is on a Thursday this year! What could be a better present?

M is for Mumu (Again)

Mumu is practically my sister's best friend. Not really. He's a cat.
I'm pretty sure she calls him "Bobby" in this really weird baby voice every time she sees him.
Yes, my sister does have pants on in these photos.
They seem to be perfect for each other, they both talk (meow) a lot, seriously neither of them is ever quiet. My sister even talks in her sleep.
He looks so content and happy!

L is for Lazy Summer Days

Summer days are hot.
Bugs crawl on your face.
And you must keep the grass you are laying on fluffed.
There are tasty pieces of grass to nibble on.
And you yawn constantly and contentedly.

Flowers, a Baby June Bug and, a Cornfield

The corn in the field next to our house is getting pretty tall already!
This baby June bug got a lot of pollen all over it from the white flower below.
This flower is just some flower on a weed in the backyard. I love the little purple hints in it though.
This is a Dianthus "Raspberry Swirl" flower. Very pretty.
