Into the Feed Pan Already?

My girl Vinnie isn't even 2 days old and she's already in the feed pan.
How could a mother be more proud?

Pregnancy Cravings

You see me licking my lips? You want to know why I'm licking my lips? It's because I'm having intense food cravings!
I crave green grass.
 I crave pine.
I crave any kind of leaves that comes my way.
 I crave birdfeed.
 I crave feathe-- Wait, what?!
I crave those little red berries
I crave grain.
I crave peanuts.
But above anything? I crave clovers! Goat-darn this whole winter thing!

New Arrivals on the Way!

We have 9 more days of the kidding countdown. Our new babies will be here soon! I started eating as soon as I heard this. I want my babies to be big and healthy!
I am so happy for myself and Gold. We've made it this far already? It seems like just yesterday we were dancing the Rhumba with Tinkerbell.
Just to be clear, baby goats smell funny. In a baby goat way, of course.

The Ferocious Hunter

Unaware, the target strays closer and closer to the ferocious hunter.
The target may not be unsuspecting, she looks up, sensing something is not right.
Seeing nothing, she goes back to eating, wandering away towards better food. The hunter is losing his chance.
The target has gotten out of range! The hunter has lost his chance.
The beautiful goat has escaped, evading capture and sure humiliation.
The hunter must wait for another day...

A Graceful Dismount

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to do a graceful dismount from a precarious perch.
Never psych yourself out! Stay calm.
My coach, Mr. Mumu, will help me get ready. It's always good to have an experienced person to help you out, so I figured a cat would be a good choice!
If you are unsure about something, consult your coach. It's OK to give him a little headbutt if he annoys you.
Always eat something (daintily!) before attempting a dismount. It will help calm your stomach if you are nervous!
Approach your chosen precarious perch and step onto it with confidence and grace.
Then jump down like a kid without a care in the world. If you don't get it on the first try, try again!
Then ask your Human or coach for treats for a job well done.

More Mouthfuls

Let me tell you something. Gold has been saying that I am eating tons. How do I know this? I have my resources. But I'll show you something.
Have I ever looked like this? A HUGE mouthful that I can barely chew? No. But while Gold has been telling you that I'm the big eater, she's been eating while away from the camera and then saying that it's all me.
 Just look at that!
Yes, I do eat, but I'm a dainty eater.

On Food and Perfection

Let me maaaa something to you quietly.
Uhura has been eating tons of food! She tells me that it is for her babies, but I don't believe her.
Just look at that. How positively outrageous.
Of course, I'm pretty much perfect. The perfect size, I eat the perfect amount (for me AND my babies) and of course I'll have the perfect amount of kids!

That Darn Snow

Uhura is very mad about the new snow. She wants to have her kids when it's warm, but it's been under 15 degrees F the past two days! I'm only repeating what our Human told us.
I just stared meaningfully at the snow. It knows that I'll do what I have to do...
You know just what I mean...
Under the snow is still good eats.
But I don't think Uhura needs to get bigger. Heehee.
Of course, I am the perfect size.

Did Uhura Move?

Yesterday I told about Uhura NOT MOVING. Lot's of people wanted to know if she did, or if she is still just standing there becoming a snow covered lump in the yard. That's right SNOW covered. As in, it's SNOWING! Pah, it had better melt before I melt it with my cuteness. Anyway. Did Uhura move?
The answer is... YES! Of course Uhura moved. Even she is not such a silly-goat that she wouldn't move if it started snowing. See? She was a smart-goat and started eating!
Also, the Human has been working on something. I wonder what it could be? Maybe it's for MEEEE!
